In KBC Bank, I started working in the retail branches, getting to know all aspects of the banking world from a micro perspective. After some years it was important for me to broaden my view, and I switched to Trade Finance. First as a Trade Finance Officer, then as Head of Operations Documentary Credits. The world of Trade Finance has grabbed me, it is so fascinating. That is why yet again, I want to look at it from another perspective so now I work as Risk Manager Trade Finance. This involves supporting all Trade Finance colleagues in taking decisions, handling problem files, sharing knowledge and expertise,… To further increase and share knowledge, I have become chair of Credimpex Belgium as of 2017.
